Roadmap
SomeGorillas development roadmap outlines our phased approach to building a sustainable gaming ecosystem on Somnia. Each phase builds upon the previous, with milestones subject to adjustment based on community feedback and technical requirements.
Phase 1: Testnet Arc ✓ Complete
Foundation & Community Building
Beta launch of CoinFlip, Mines, achievements, tasks, referral system, leaderboards, and community infrastructure. This phase established core mechanics and gathered crucial user feedback.
Phase 2: Mainnet Goes Burr (Current Phase)
Live Platform & NFT Launch
CoinFlip deployment with bootstrapped liquidity pools
Mines game full launch on mainnet
Some Gorillas NFT collection mint
NFT staking system with dual rewards (BANANA + Somnia tokens)
Platform narrative and community storytelling begins
Phase 3: Be the House
Community Liquidity & Advanced Systems
Open payout pools to community participation. Users can deposit SOMI to become the house, with bigger pools supporting larger bets and long-term platform stability. Includes smart contract audits, platform optimization, and BANANA token TGE preparation.
Phase 4: Gorillas Go BANANAs
Token Launch & Full On-Chain Integration
BANANA token TGE and complete transition to fully on-chain systems. All platform mechanics become transparent and verifiable on Somnia blockchain.
Phase 5: DAO Governance
Community-Driven Decision Making
Establish DAO-driven governance with proposal and voting systems. Community members can vote on game additions, partnerships, fund allocations, and platform direction.
Phase 6: Merch & Beyond
Brand Expansion
Physical merchandise, potential clothing brand, and additional community-driven initiatives to expand the SomeGorillas brand beyond digital platforms.
Long-Term Vision
Continued expansion with additional games, refined reward systems, and sustainable economic models. Development priorities will be guided by DAO governance and community input.
All timelines are estimates and subject to change based on technical requirements, security considerations, and community decisions.
